If only web hosting could be as flexible as PHP... Loosely-typed hosting? We do that. If you are tired of being locked in to someone else's idea of how PHP should be configured to run your applications, look no further. Check out our virtual private server hosting and get full root access to configure things however you like. The only thing we have in common with shared hosting? The price. |

I need the php ssh2 functions for something i am trying to host on my VPS.
I have set this up on centos (real boxes) many times however now things arn't exactly working the same. Normally i would grab libssh2 then ./configure --with-openssl=/usr/ now im getting errors it cant find certain files... evp.h and hmac.h Just wondering if anyone knows another way to get the php ssh functions on one of the vpslink VPSs. Cheers Ben |

I got it sorted in the end.
Needed to install openssl-devel, the gcc trio, php-devel and libtool (i think that was it) then it installed fine. Also a note to people worried about compiling things for potential memory limits, compiling openssh2 ran without a hitch, as did compiling the php plugin. This is on a VPS Link2 with slimmed down apache, vsftpd, and a slim mysql. Ben |
