Default Any cancelation issues?

I wanted to know if anyone has had cancelation issues when you follwed the correct procedures of cancelling service. I am a graduate student looking to purchase for only one month of service for my class. My concern is I do not want to be automatically billed for more then that on my credit card, and have heard of people having major problems with canceling service with other server companies. Any input from customers ONLY is appreciated and not a sales rep. Thanks.

I have issues like that before as well where a hosting company using billing software that autorenews with no way of stopping it! The threads here actually doesn't show a problem with cancellation. There's more about promotional renewals and lack of patience for refunds for an unconfirmed order. If it really concerns you that much you can pm danl or sales though I don't see any reason to be concerned. Just make sure you order monthly as there are no refunds. You could probably generate one time use credit cards but paypal can have problems with those numbers.

I've had a server here for a month and then cancelled (in fact - I only needed it for two weeks - so they processed my request scheduled the cancellation to happen at the end of the month).

The server was for a special project. I still have a regular server - very happy customer - prepaid till next year.

I've cancelled one of my services here (and subsequently taken another) and had no problems with the process.

If you need it for only a month, then as soon as the purchase process has been completed, follow the cancellation process (available from within your control panel) indicating that you want the services cancelled at the end of the month.

Remember that this is an unmanaged service, so be sure to make a backup of your class work when you're done though, because I don't think you'll get any data afterwards.

Thanks for your input with cancelling right after you sign up. When you say I can do it through the "control panel" what are you referring to?
