Default Old restores after vpsl4-009 crash

So vpsl4-009 died the other day *1, and I am just logging in this morning because someone said my site was giving the wrong ssl cert. Upon investigation I find that the certs I installed on Feb 14th are missing. The files are not there, upon further investigation I find that it's using old conf files and other files are missing or gone.

Does this mean that the restore done after the vpsl4-009 hardware failure is using a backup from more then 4 days ago? Has anyone else noticed this?

They claim that "VPSLink backs up each system nightly. *2" However this failure may point out that they are not, because they couldn't even recover my recent files after their own failures.

Can anyone confirm this? I sent a support message, but haven't received a message back yet.

I guess am only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more. I guess other sites includes this forum. Silly forum software.

My VPS was also affected by this outage. The restores on my VPS were from February 9th. There was obviously some critical failure in their backup strategy.

Wow - you are right Brock, my log files all have huge gaps around Feb 9.
