    Default yum update centos 5.4

anyone going to do it? :P

updated: I updated mines with the recommended commands.

    yum clean all
    yum update glibc\*
    yum update yum\* rpm\* python\*
    yum clean all
    yum update
    shutdown -r now

I thought the console wouldn't time out on me but it did with the last "yum update" command. the yum log showed the updated packages before I manually shut down.

Our OS templates have been updated and the centos-5 template will include CentOS 5.4 - wouldn't recommend manually updating with yum (particularly for OpenVZ).

Updated from 5.3 to 5.4 on my work laptop last week; went smooth as silk. Didn't even have to deal with a kernel update. Wouldn't recommend on a VPS, though. My very first VPS with VPSlink is still running etch!
