    Unhappy session data problem

    hi there,

    having some weird problem with session data and php. php.ini has sessions set to save in /tmp but php scripts that run from /www/html can't save data even when dramatic measures like changing /tmp to chmod 777 are implemented. no idea why

    well, after spending hours trying to figure out why the hell my sessions were being dropped, I discovered that it was the SELinux option that I decided to install for no particular reason at all

    disabled it and everything is fantastic. Weird that googling for "SESSION PROBLEM LINUX BROKEN" didn't return this
