Default Now my VPS IP is in the SBL blacklist

After resolving my reverse DNS issues (thanks, Matt!):

    http://forums.vpslink.com/lounge/128...n-no-rdns.html

I almost immediately have another problem:

The IP for my VPS (209.59.222.97) is now in the SBL blacklist because of other VPSLink customers in the same /25 that have been sending spam:

    http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/sbl.lasso?query=SBL88625

I tell you what, I'm having a hard time with VPSLink so far.

Couldn't send outbound email because of lack of rDNS, now can't send email because I'm unfairly blacklisted.

It's not just SBL. I also have SenderBase reputation score of "poor":

    SenderBaseŽ - 209.59.222.97

    because of the same people.

We have already taken action to correct the issue. The blacklist entry should be removed shortly.

    Matt:

Thanks for getting it out of SBL. However, the senderbase.org reputation is still poor. This is partially due to the lag of senderbase.org but at least one of these IPs is still in SORBS:

    SORBS Database Lookup

    Thanks!

The senderbase.org reputation for 209.59.222.97 is currently showing as neutral.

There are a few IP addresses in the range listed as poor which were previously used for abuse and ultimately ended up with the blacklist. These will revert back to neutral over time as the average volume falls back to acceptable levels from senderbase.org standards.

We are working with SORBS to delist the other IP address.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

@jamec9869 please open a support ticket and send me the ticket ID if your VPS is seeing a similar issue and we can take a look.
