Default Don't try upgrading to Karmic.

On Xen, it doesn't work. After the upgrade rebot, you're left with a completely hung VPS that support can't recover.
Your only option is to re-install the container and recover from the backups that I hope you're making =)

I wasn't smart enough to check the forums before starting the upgrade. This post is just to warn anyone smarter than me that it doesn't work.

how did you do the upgrade and what is your vpslink package if you don't mind saying?

I think if you use the debian way without the toolchain it should work. Problem with the toolchain being the kernel.
But yeah; highly recommend not upgrading if you don't know how to do a recovery.
