    Default IPv6 tunnel in Debian/OpenVZ

    Hello.
I am a computer programmer and need an IPv6 tunnel for experimental purposes. I have Debian on my virtual server using OpenVZ. It seems I am not able to add an additional interface that is needed for the tunnel endpoint.
    ifconfig sit0 up
fails with "sit0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device"
ip tunnel add ip6tunnel mode sit remote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx local xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ttl 255
failes with "ioctl: No such device"

Any clue if there is a possibility to get it running?

    Regards,
    Hohepriester

Our network gateway does not support IPv6 at this time - I cannot offer a timeframe for the implementation of IPv6 at VPSLink.
