Install JRE & JDK under Ubuntu 9.04 through SSH / OpenVPZ

Hi,

I am trying to install an application on the server remotely, and I need to install the jre first, so I'm using SSH.

But every time I get stuck during the process at the place about configuring sun-java6-jre (where I have to confirm the license agreement with an 'OK' button): I can't proceed with the installation, because there's no input coming from my keyboard anymore to the console.

I am not a linux/unix expert, so I might be missing some basic knowledge here.

Could someone please help me out?

Problem solved.
I just figured out I could use a ssh client (putty in occurence) to handle the problem, instead of using the web-based console.
